We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team, located in Voorhees, New Jersey. Currently we are looking for:

• Damage Assessor – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

The primary responsibility includes:

• Working closely with the Member Services Department to investigate and make decisions to resolve member complaints, within established departmental standards, including, but not limited to, service delays, service driver demeanor, service charges, mechanical repairs and vehicle damage.
• Inspection of vehicles in cases where members allege mechanical damage, improper repair or other related matters.
• Determines liability of damage.
• Provides written/verbal communication to AAA Members, and Contract Facilities regarding Roadside Assistance service related damage complaints or service issues.

Required experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of Automotive Repair experience and service techniques
• Knowledge of our four-county coverage area
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bending, kneeling and balancing to inspect cars and change tires five to ten minutes at a time; and pushing on occasion.
• Exposure to noise from traffic, two-way radio daily. Must be physically able to drive assigned vehicle.
• Must agree to submit to drug testing (pre-hire, post incident & periodic).
• Required to pass a physical examination as required by the Department of Transportation or AAA South Jersey
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• For insurance purposes candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
