CEO Letter Nov-Dec 2017

As we prepare to close out 2017, it seems an appropriate time to look back on our history, while looking forward to our future. This year marked AAA South Jersey’s 90^th anniversary and our 20^th year in our Voorhees location.

We’ve seen many changes in South Jersey and to our club since we first opened our doors in 1927. Then, we were primarily an “automobile club.” Yes, we’ve been around a long time. We were here before the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, before I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, even before traffic circles!

Over the years, we’ve added numerous programs to benefit our members, such as travel services, insurance, financial products, and merchant discounts exclusive to AAA. A brief look through this magazine will show you the many products and services available to you, just for being a AAA member.

As we celebrate our 90th anniversary, I would like to encourage all our members to rediscover all that your AAA membership has to offer. Even though we were founded to aid motorists, there’s more to us than just roadside assistance. Enjoy the expertise and personal touch of our travel professionals. Utilize the offerings and savings of our comprehensive insurance programs. Enjoy the savings and special offers afforded to you by our “Discounts and Rewards” partners.

One other change I would encourage you to see is our completely redesigned headquarters -- our first major redesign in the 20 years we’ve been here. Over the course of the past few months, we’ve totally revamped our Voorhees office. It’s much brighter, with more of an open space concept, and more welcoming. Additionally, we’ve added many more travel products to our store and increased seating to make our members comfortable during their visit. Feel free to stop by whenever you’re in the area!

To all of our members -- whether you’re new to AAA or you are one of the more than 800 members who have been with us for more than 50 years -- I extend my appreciation and trust that you will find that AAA was and will continue to be an invaluable resource to you.
