Each year, a group of goats is brought in to help clear invasive plants like English ivy, poison ivy, and Japanese knotweed. The goats are natural weed eaters, allowing the forest to be restored without the use of herbicides. Visitors can watch the goats in action, but there are a few rules—no feeding or petting, as they may be covered in poison ivy oils.
