What is AAA TripTik®?
Once just limited to printed booklets, TripTik® has been updated to a digital tool that you can access online or in the AAA mobile app. You can create instant maps, routes, and narrative directions. Even add points of interest, road construction, rest areas, traffic, and more to make your next road trip smooth and hassle-free.
How to Use AAA TripTik®:
1. Plan Your Route Online
Go to the AAA TripTik Travel Planner on our website. Enter your starting point and final destination, and then add stops for sightseeing, meals, or overnight stays. You can create a multi-stop itinerary tailored to your interest.
2. Explore Along the Way
Use the search and filters to find attractions, restaurants, and lodging that match your interests. From visiting national parks to local hidden gems, TripTik® highlights interesting places to check out on your route.
3. Check Real-Time Road Conditions
TripTik® displays live traffic updates, road construction, gas prices, and electric vehicle charging stations. This helps you avoid delays and plan for stops more effectively.
4. Spot AAA Discounts
Keep an eye out for AAA Approved® and Diamond-rated hotels and restaurants. These listings come with special discounts or perks for AAA members, making your trip more affordable and comfortable.
5. Stay Flexible

7. Prefer Paper? AAA Has Your Covered
If you like a physical backup, or just want that nostalgic road trip vibe, you can request a printed TripTik or regional maps from one of our AAA South Jersey offices. It will take 2 to 3 business days for the physical TripTik® booklet to be ready for pickup.
