What to do When You Have Been in an Accident

1. Check yourself and any passengers for injuries.
2. If someone is injured, call 911.
3. If there are no injuries, if possible, move your vehicle to a safe location and contact the police non-emergency number.
4. Take pictures of the scene, the vehicles involved, and any damages to the vehicles involved. Include the make, model, and license plate from the other vehicle.
5. Contact your insurance company as soon as possible and give them the details of the accident and the police report number if available.
