To help replace tools stolen from a Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity job site, AAA South Jersey made a donation of $500 toward the purchase of new tools today.
Thieves had stolen tools from the same Habitat jobsite in Deptford Township on three separate occasions during the summer, taking over $5,000 worth of tools.
David Antrilli, CEO of AAA South Jersey, presented a check to Anthony Isabella, Executive Director of the Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity at Habitat’s offices in Pitman.
“We’re both in the business of helping people when they need help the most, and having the right tools to do the job is vital to our missions,” said Antrilli. “Stealing from an organization like Habitat for Humanity is about as low as you can go, and to go back and steal from them again and again speaks volumes about how truly bad some people can be. We’re hoping that our donation can help the employees and volunteers at the Habitat for Humanity get back to doing the excellent work they do in the community.”
Antrilli also committed to having AAA South Jersey employees volunteer at an upcoming Habitat for Humanity work site.
