VOORHEES, N.J. – AAA South Jersey is proud to now be a permanent collection site for BookSmiles, a Pennsauken-based nonprofit that distributes children's books to those in need.
Visit our Voorhees office – located at 700 Laurel Oak Road – during business hours to drop off books. The branch is open Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. The collection box is located in the sitting area to the right of the main entrance.

BookSmiles accepts new and gently used books for children and adults, including dictionaries, encyclopedias and magazine collections. Adult books are also accepted. BookSmiles trades grown-up books by the ton for children's books.
Since 2017, BookSmiles has distributed over 2.8 million books to children, homes, and teachers in need.
AAA South Jersey associates and members donated more than 4,000 books to BookSmiles in early March, followed by a staff volunteer event.
“BookSmiles’ mission is so important today, and AAA South Jersey is proud to support it in any way we can. We encourage all members to go through their closets and bookshelves and donate what they can. Just one book can make a difference in a child’s life,” AAA spokesperson Matthew Bowker said.
