The New Jersey State Finals of the AAA Student Auto Skills competition will be held on Wednesday, April 30, at Atco Raceway, located at 1000 Jackson Road in Atco. AAA South Jersey is the host club for the event.
Since 1949, the AAA Student Auto Skills program has helped auto technology students earn scholarships to further their education. Over 10,000 high school juniors and seniors nationwide compete annually for more than $7 million in prizes and scholarships. Students from all over the country participate in the Ford/AAA Auto Skills program by taking online qualification exams. The top 10 teams from across the state will compete at Atco. The top team from the New Jersey Finals will proceed to the national competition to be held on the front lawn of the Ford Headquarters in Deerborn, Michigan.
