From Our CEO - AAA South Jersey Driving School 10th Anniversary
This year, the AAA South Jersey Driving School is celebrating its 10th anniversary. AAA has long been an advocate for the motoring public. What better way to promote traffic safety than to teach the drivers ourselves?
There have been some memorable students over the years. The AAA South Jersey Driving School has taught two sets of triplets, a set of quadruplets, and a 94-year-old student.
Since the driving school opened its doors on July 21, 2014, more than 7,500 students have sat behind the wheel – whether for the first time ever, while taking their road test, or simply brushing up on their skills.
A lot has changed since 2014. Features like lane assist, backup cameras, and automatic emergency braking are now commonplace in new vehicles.
Over the past decade, car manufacturers have moved away from producing sedans, and in some cases, only producing SUVs.
Now, the AAA South Jersey Driving School’s vehicles include back-up cameras. We also have in-car cameras that record both the interior and the roadway for an additional layer of safety. We also noticed that most families have SUVs, so we acquired SUVs for our students to learn so it would be an easier transition to their parents’ vehicles.
Whatever the next 10 years of vehicle advancements hold, you can count on the AAA South Jersey Driving School being there for you and your family.
