After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, have breakfast with your group at a local restaurant or pub. Then, drive into Athlone and stop at Sean's Bar, Ireland's oldest Pub, to enjoy a drink with your fellow travelers. Continue your journey into Galway and embark on a panoramic tour to see the principal sights of the city. See the Spanish Arch in the Claddagh area, the City Museum and the Cathedral of Our Lady, which is built on the site of the former county jail. Motor a short distance to your hotel, check in and settle into your room. In the evening, join your group for a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant including 2 glasses of wine, beer or soft drink per person.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: PARK HOUSE HOTEL, GALWAY
This morning, embark on a cruise on Lough Corrib, which is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland. Measuring 68 square miles and with 365 islands, this lake is one of the cleanest in all of Europe. Lough Corrib contains many islands with historic ruins and a wealth of wildlife. Next, enjoy an afternoon tea at the spectacular Glenlo Abbey. Built in the 1790’s, Glenlo Abbey was intended to be a private church for one of the 14 wealthy merchant families that made up the famous Tribes of Galway. After, head back to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day free for individual pursuits and dining.
OVERNIGHT: PARK HOUSE HOTEL, GALWAY
Leaving Galway, head to the Burren Smokehouse, a family run business producing award-winning smoked fish and other artisan foods. While here, enjoy a tour followed by a tasting of their fine smoked fish. Next, journey into Doolin for some free time to explore the area on your own. Doolin is a charming small seaside village on the northwest coast of County Clare. Traditionally a fishing village, Doolin is now renowned worldwide as the traditional music capital of Ireland. After, drive along the coast of scenic County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most beloved, natural landmarks. See magical vistas, overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland's Western coastline. Then, take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary before continuing your travel into Killarney. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, settle into your room and spend some time at leisure before dining in the hotel restaurant with your fellow travelers.
OVERNIGHT: SCOTTS HOTEL, KILLARNEY
After breakfast, set off to explore the Ring of Kerry, which consist of over 100 miles of marvelous scenery. See some of Ireland's highest peaks on one side of the road and a coastline scattered with golden beaches and rocky headlands on the other. There will also be plenty of stops to take-in the scenery and to snap photos. Return to your hotel in Killarney and enjoy some free time before this evening's festivities.
Tonight, head to the Celtic Whiskey Bar to enjoy a classic Irish dinner with your group followed by whiskey and chocolate pairing.
OVERNIGHT: SCOTTS HOTEL, KILLARNEY
Today, discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as "the most beautiful place on earth." Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach, stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. Pause at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Next, visit Inch Beach, which offers miles of golden sand and breathtaking scenery showcasing mountain, beach, valley and sea. Head back to your hotel in Killarney, where you might like to freshen up before a festive evening with your group.
In the evening, travel to The Boatyard Restaurant, which overlooks Dingle Marina and Harbour. While here, enjoy an authentic Irish dinner with your group.
OVERNIGHT: SCOTTS HOTEL, KILLARNEY
Departing Killarney, drive into Blarney, where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence." After, enjoy some free time to grab an independent bite to eat for lunch, stroll through the many shops and browse around the village, charmingly set around a large village green. Continue your travel into Dublin, check into your hotel and settle into your room. This evening, meet your group in the hotel restaurant for a delicious meal.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: TRINITY CITY HOTEL, DUBLIN
This morning, embark on an orientation drive around Dublin city center. See the main thoroughfares of O'Connell Street, Nassau Street and some lovely public parks as you pass by many historical sites. Stop to tour Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness. Head back to your nearby hotel and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure. Later in the day, you might like to freshen up before this evening's farewell festivities.
Tonight, journey to The Church Restaurant to enjoy a traditional Irish dinner with your group including 2 glasses of wine, beer or soft drink per person.
OVERNIGHT: TRINITY CITY HOTEL, DUBLIN
All too soon, your vacation has come to its final day. Transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your flight. You may do some last-minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying across the Atlantic Ocean back to the United States.
